Already have a quote?
We'll see who beats it.

Text us the price a contractor gave you. We describe the job to other licensed providers nearby and ask whether any of them will do it for less. You pick, or you keep the quote you had.

Got it. Can you send a photo of the leak, and the full street address?

01

You send the quote

The work, the price, a photo, and the address. Takes about two minutes over text.

02

We ask around

Nearby providers get the job description and the price to beat. They bid or they pass.

03

You choose

You see the competing prices. Nothing is booked and no address is shared until you say yes.

What it costs

Forma Real is free to ask. If you book a provider through us, our fee is added to the job total at checkout and the provider receives their full bid. The fee is 10% of the job, capped so it never consumes more than 40% of what you saved.

If nobody beats your original quote, you owe nothing and you are free to go with the contractor who quoted you first. We will tell you plainly when that happens.

We are not a contractor and we do not perform the work. We introduce homeowners to independent licensed providers and process payment between them.

About our text messages

Everything happens over text. There is no app to install and no account to create.

How you opt in
You text us first, or you give your mobile number on our intake form and check the box agreeing to receive text messages about your job. We never message a number that has not contacted us or asked to be contacted.
What we send
Messages about your specific job: questions needed to describe the work, competing prices as they come in, booking confirmation, and your payment link. We message providers about jobs near them.
How often
Message frequency varies by job. A typical job involves 8 to 15 messages over a day or two. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Forma Real does not charge for messages; your mobile carrier may.
Stopping
Reply STOP at any time and we stop immediately. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at support@formareal.co.

Providers

Licensed contractors receive job offers by text: the work, the general area, and the price to beat. The customer's street address and phone number are withheld until the customer books you. Reply with your price to bid, or pass. Reply STOP to stop receiving offers.
